Scot R. King

Scot Reed King, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed doing what he loved on March 3, 2026, at the age of 67.

In his lifetime, Scot was someone who was a master at all and never idle. From his time in the Navy to earlier retirement he worked selflessly for others, passed on wisdom, and had a work ethic like no other. His legacy lives on in the many projects he built and worked on alongside others. He will be deeply missed by all.

Scot is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Rhonda King; his children, James King (Megan) and Scotty King (Sarah); Bonus son, Nick Hopkins; Brother and Sisters, Pat Strong, Marilyn Geeo, Donnice Craig, Kevin King, Shelia Gailbary; loving in-laws.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James King and Shirley King; sister, Susie Vaughn; and sister, Linda Spardling.

Arrangements are by Hot Springs Funeral Home.
