Harry Speer

Harry Speer, 77, of Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas passed away Feb. 1, 2026. He was born June 2, 1948, in Cedar Glades, Arkansas, to Oliver Speer and Margaret Fisher Speer.

Harry was preceded in death by his father, Oliver Speer; mother, Margaret Speer; and brother, Larry Speer.

Survivors include his three sisters, Eunice Melton, Arleva Hilborn, and Arlena Reed; daughter, Sherry Speer; granddaughter, Lauren Speer White; niece and nephew, Tonya and Darius Melton; niece, Sheila Adams; nephew, Todd (Becky) Hilborn and numerous other nieces and nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be 9-10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

A celebration of Harry's life will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 6 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Vanderslice officiating. Burial to follow service at Rock Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Darius Melton, Colter Melton, Todd Hilborn, Vernon Tenford Jr., Darin Norman, and Kenneth Gamble.

Honorary pallbearers are Hanna Mills, Craig Stevens, Mike Foshee, and Josh May.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Moore, VA Hospital Floor 6E.

Very special thank you to Darin Norman.

To the end, Harry embraced life fully, guided by his simple motto: "Wine, Women, and Song."
