Danny R. Morrison

Age 74 Hot Springs
January 20, 2026

Danny Rea Morrison, 74, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away Jan. 20, 2026. He was born Aug. 13, 1951, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to Buddy and Alma (Burris) Morrison.

Danny was known for his strong faith, his never-ending love for his family and friends, and his kind soul. He was a selfless man who gave his time freely to his church, those he loved, and strangers alike. He carried an unwavering love for his late wife, Mary, who preceded him in death, but remained forever in his heart. He was blessed to have met and married the next love of his life, Ginny, whom he adored and spent every day making sure she knew as much. There was also a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. He was the best daddy and Pawpaw anyone could ask for. Danny loved being outdoors and worked outside almost every day of his life, even through retirement. He enjoyed keeping his yard immaculate, working in his garden, fishing, or enjoying coffee on the porch while overlooking the Pennsylvania mountains.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don Morrison; and beloved wife, Mary Morrison.

Survivors include his loving wife, Virginia (Ginny) Morrison; daughter, Heather Morrison; sons, Jay Morgan (Barbie), Steve Morgan (Cynthia), Micah Morrison; stepson, Gregory Dorworth (Greg's brother Jeffrey Dorworth, deceased); many grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many other family members that he loved dearly.

He will forever be remembered for his warm smile, sense of humor, servant's heart, and the way he lived his faith not only through words, but through action.
