Cheryl L. Hardin
Cheryl Lee Wilson Hardin, aged 77, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026.
Meeting her in heaven were her husband of 42 years, Bobby Ray Hardin, parents, Clyde and Thelma Wilson, her brother, Kevin Wilson, and her son, Tory Hardin, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, three precious unborn grandchildren, and one great-grandson, Dallas.
Cheryl is survived by her daughters, Carrie (Chad) Turner and Tessa Raye Ember; her grandchildren, Colten (Andi) Smith, Mikalyn (Josh) Huffman, Raylee Speers, and Riley Speers; her three great-grandchildren, Addison, Parker, and Alaska Smith; along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, and her dog, Debo.
Cheryl was known for her gentleness, nurturing soul, giving heart, and kindness toward others.
As a truly creative soul, Cheryl enjoyed many forms of art, including painting, crocheting, decorating birthday cakes, sewing, and arranging flowers. Cheryl used this gift to spread love and compassion across her community: sewing and donating hundreds of masks to healthcare workers during the 2020 pandemic, crocheting stuffed animals for children in need, and donating crocheted hats and scarves to homeless shelters.
We hope that you think of Cheryl when you are enjoying a hot tamale spread from McClard's, riding around in the car with the windows down, spending time with family, playing card games, cooking banana bread, no-bake cookies, and potato cakes, and mastering new crochet patterns. She will be missed dearly, but her family finds comfort knowing she is no longer suffering and is now with her Lord and Savior.
